An independent guide to reading on the go. We are not a library or a shop and do not hand out books or files; we have no connection to the earlier website on this domain.

Archive

The archive gathers every page of the guide, sorted by year and main topic. Only published pages make it here, with no announcements or empty drafts. Choose a tag to show, for example, only pages about formats or only about reading on the go. The date on an entry is the day the page was prepared; if a page was later substantially expanded, a separate entry in the What's new feed says so. The archive comes in handy when you remember reading something on the site about the public domain or headphone volume but cannot recall which page it was on. Any entry can be opened on its own and the link sent to a friend who also wants to read on the go. There are no other people's texts, reprints or anything that used to be on this domain here: the archive contains only our own pages. The archive tags match the feed tags: formats, where to get, habit and on the go. If you keep a list of what you have read, the layout of this page can suggest a handy format: the date, a short title and one tag. That is enough to remember easily, a year from now, what you read on the go and when.

The archive works like a handy list of books you have read: a date, a title, one tag, and nothing more.

— Editor's note

Selection principle: each entry corresponds to an existing page of the guide; the date is the day it was prepared; the tag is the page's main topic. Pages still in progress appear in the archive only after they are published.

Old addresses on this domain

Pages that used to open on this domain have nothing to do with the current guide. We do not restore, quote or carry them over, and the archive contains none of the old addresses. If you arrived through an old link, open the home page or the guide's topics: everything the site currently offers is there, from reading formats and legal ways to find a book to the reading habit and reading on the go.
